Copyright and DMCA Policy

Last updated: October 19, 2026

ProPage is operated by ModelLogic LLC, a California limited liability company ("ProPage," "we," "us," or "our"). We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect the people who publish on ProPage to do the same. This page explains how to notify us of claimed copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. Section 512, how a user can respond to a removal, and what happens to accounts that repeatedly infringe. It supplements Section 10 of our Terms of Service.

1. Designated Agent

Notices of claimed infringement and counter-notifications must be sent to our designated agent:

ModelLogic LLC, Attn: DMCA Agent
Email: legal@pro.page
Postal address: to be published with the registration of our designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office
Telephone: to be published with that registration

Email is the fastest way to reach the agent.

2. Filing a Notice of Claimed Infringement

If you believe that content published on ProPage infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to enforce, send a written notice to the designated agent. Under 17 U.S.C. Section 512(c)(3), the notice must include:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material, such as the URL of the public page.
  4. Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

A notice that is missing required elements may not be acted on until it is completed.

3. What Happens When We Receive a Notice

When we receive a notice that meets the requirements above, we promptly remove or disable access to the identified material, notify the user who published it, provide that user with a copy of the notice, and record the notice against the user's account. We may also forward the notice to a third party for publication.

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to the designated agent. Under 17 U.S.C. Section 512(g)(3), it must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access was disabled.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which ProPage may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice or an agent of such person.

When we receive a valid counter-notification, we forward it to the person who sent the original notice. Unless that person notifies us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement, we restore the removed material between 10 and 14 business days after receiving the counter-notification.

5. Repeat Infringers

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others. Each valid notice is recorded against the account it concerns. An account that accumulates three valid notices within twelve months is terminated, and we may terminate an account sooner for a single egregious infringement.

6. Misrepresentation

Under 17 U.S.C. Section 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, incurred by the alleged infringer, by the copyright owner or its licensee, or by us.

7. Other Intellectual Property Complaints

For complaints about trademarks or other intellectual property that are not copyright notices under the DMCA, email legal@pro.page with a description of the rights concerned, the location of the material on ProPage, and your contact details.
